Hi, I have a great idea for a startup. I did an initial survey among potential users and my app that I plan to release is quite in demand. But I haven't even released an MVP app. Should I look for a team on my own or use the services of experienced professionals?

It's not worth it, if they fail you'll just waste your money and the investor's money. The team must be fully immersed in the project and be experienced in solving problems. And the specialists that you can pick up may be incompetent.

Thanks for the recommendation, you are right in that it will take a very long time to put together an experienced team. But maybe it's worth it since I will save money.

If so, you did a great initial job, since even without an MVP application you were able to get investors interested. Usually it is very rare that investors are willing to invest in a project without at least a ready-made prototype of an application with working basic features.

You see, here's the problem, you need to run the application, it costs money. Do you have an initial budget to get started? Or just an idea? If it's just an idea, that doesn't help you much.
